Abstract: |
The VESA VIP is a dedicated physical connection between a graphics
adapter and one or more 3rd party hardware devices, such as MPEG-2
or HDTV decoders, video digitizers, video encoders, etc. With a
dedicated connection, devices supplying video data do not have to
compete with other data movement on the current industry standard
PCI bus. |
